Wardrop & Co. specialise in stamp insurance, and the insurance of philatelic and other collections. This include insurance of coins and banknotes, medals, cigarette and phone cards, antiquarian books, maps and prints, mineral specimens and almost anything of a similar nature. Stamp insurance includes covers, envelopes, postcards, albums, philatelic literature, stamp boxes and cases, and other items of postal history or philatelic interest.

"All Risks" Insurance Cover for Collectors

Extensive coverage is provided by this policy devised by Wardrop & Co. Ltd. in conjunction with, and underwritten by, Certain Underwriters at Lloyd's.

The Certificate provides cover against all risks of physical loss, destruction or damage to the collection and other philatelic material whilst anywhere in the United Kingdom, including Exhibitions and exchange clubs and whilst accompanying the Insured or his representative on any journey in the United Kingdom or sendings within the UK by post or by rail, carrier or other means.

Cover may be extended to include overseas exhibitions or transits at an additional premium.

The standard Certificate restricts cover away from the main location and in transit to £15,000, however, this limit may be increased upon request.

Collection Value per £1000 per annum:

"Anywhere UK" (Depending on sum insured and security protections) £3.00 to £3.75
"Normally Bank"(30 days withdrawal p.a.) £2.50
Bank Only £1.25
